How it started
Doctors said he was 100 years ahead of his time.
Over 90 years ago, the respected Harley Street doctor Edward Bach, a well-known bacteriologist, physician and pathologist, started developing his own natural and non-toxic system of healing. He studied homoeopathy and suggested that certain wild flowers carried vibrations corresponding to different psychological states.
To prove his ideas, Dr Bach gave up his successful practice in London and moved to the countryside where he devoted the rest of his short life to completing his series of remedies and writing about his philosophy of holistic healing. During the past 30 years Dr Bach’s alternative therapy of healing has become formaly accepted for both humans and animals.
